About Valentine
Since I was little I have been very fond of any form of art that allows me to express my individuality. That of course included music and singing, that with time became my safe place, a sanctuary. During these years I tried to keep myself involved with creative disciplines from contemporary music studies to Musical theatre. At the age of thirteen I wrote my first original song, from the age of fourteen I started getting private lessons in contemporary music, musical theatre and pop music singing, at sixteen inspired by the many artists I loved I started my own band, a pop rock project that from my hometown in Italy, led me to London where we had the chance to play for prestigious venues such as the O2 Islington. Here, it's where I had the chance to network with some young talents in the scene and that's when I decided I was going to make a home out of London. I then started to collaborate with different musicians, to co-write and perform with them and that helped me mature as an artist and kept the spark alive while I was working towards my goals. After deciding to be a professional singer, I started my degree (Bmus-hons-) at The Institute Of Contemporary Music Performance (University of East London) where I am currently studying Vocals, Music and Performance and developing precious skills such as music theory, music technology, music production, aural perception, technique and sight reading along with improving my Vocal, stylistic technique and songwriting. Among the genres I focused on there are: blues, rock, soul, funk, disco, r 'n b and pop

Valentine believes everyone should be able to benefit from all the amazing advantages singing can bring and she loves to use her knowledge and skills to help others nurture their musical talent. Her goal as a Vocal Coach is to build her students’ self-confidence whilst ensuring they have fun too. Together you will work on safely improving your vocal, songwriting and performing skills, with the pace and approach tailored to your needs and level. If you are interested in developing valuable skills such as: music theory aural perception technique sight-reading stylistic technique songwriting this is the right place to start.
