About David

With over 15 years of vocal coaching experience, my primary goal is to help my students develop a strong, healthy, and powerful voice while encouraging their creativity. I work with students of all skill levels, from beginners who are just learning the basics to experienced singers who want to enhance their performance. My approach centers around ensuring that each student is learning vocal techniques that will benefit their long-term vocal health. I focus on breath control, posture, pitch accuracy, and resonance to build a solid foundation. As students progress, I introduce advanced techniques like vocal runs, dynamics, and tone control to further develop their abilities. I also incorporate ear training and music theory to improve students’ musicality and overall understanding of the craft. To encourage students to find their personal voice, I allow them to explore a wide range of musical genres, from classical and jazz to pop and contemporary. I also dedicate time to performance coaching, helping students develop confidence on stage and build a connection with their audience. My lessons are tailored to each student’s individual goals, whether they’re preparing for an audition, recording a song, or simply enjoying the joy of singing.

For beginners, I focus on building proper breath support and pitch control, while for more advanced students, I work on refining vocal agility, tone, and dynamics. My teaching approach is holistic, incorporating not only vocal exercises but also emotional expression, which I believe is key to engaging an audience. I encourage students to explore various genres of music, from pop and R&B to classical, musical theater, and jazz, ensuring they become versatile performers. Throughout my lessons, I emphasize vocal health and ensure that students develop healthy habits that will sustain their voice for years to come. Whether preparing for auditions, public performances, or just singing for fun, my goal is to help students gain confidence and discover their unique vocal sound.
