I am writing this letter to give my highest recommendation for Aditya Abhijeet Kathane whom I have known during this past year. I am a Research scholar with research articles in global science journals. Currently working on Calixarene derivative & organometallic catalyst and their reactions. I am an independent researcher in the field of chemistry specializing calixarene compounds and researching into implementation against cancer and covid-19. Aditya has worked with me as a research assistant for the past year working with me in the lab and writing the paper titled “synthesis of o-depleted calix[4]arene complexes and its biological compatibility and application on covid-19 and cancer.
During the time I have known Aditya, he has demonstrated his inert and ever-growing curiosity alongside the ability to work independently as well as in teams with great creativity and enthusiasm. He has put in a lot of time and hard work which involved going through various scientific journals, finding research papers relevant to my research, preparing references, finding secondary and primary sources of data, and analyzing trends that appeared through the data. Aditya put in a lot of effort to complete the work always before time, making sure it was done to the best of his ability. He was open to any feedback whenever he made mistakes and made sure that those mistakes were never repeated. Aditya worked along with me to draw the complexes of various ligands and molecule using CHEM DRAW-3D, also collected research articles based on calixarene via SCI-HUB using the given DOI of the manuscript.
His initial enthusiasm to get involved in the lab straight away was met with disappointment, however through his immense hard work, dedication and persuasion I allowed him to work in the lab under my supervision. This is an exception I made keeping in mind his dedication to the subject and responsible nature giving me confidence that the lab won’t be misused.
Apart from working in the field of chemistry, Aditya is extremely passionate about physics and math’s in general and has been relentlessly pursuing the option of me introducing him into an engineering lab wherein he can work on different sorts of robots, something which has not been possible yet.
He has tried his hand at a couple of engineering projects. His first project was a water purification prototype that he developed himself to help the needy people residing in slum cluster near his locality. I was able to connect him with someone in Dubai working in the purification industry who confirmed the efficiency of the prototype. I am really impressed seeing him use his technical knowledge and understanding with the intent to help the greater good of society. He has helped almost 100 families already.
Another pursuit of his was a currency note sterilizer which also counted and checked the legitimacy of the notes. Although he developed the tech quite efficiently, he failed to understand a broader perspective in terms of its implementation and the consumer experience. this is somewhere his over enthusiasm held him back, he was not able to account for the implementation of his project in the market. This experience truly gave him an extremely important life lesson, which he has put into implantation with all his other pursuits.View more recommendations
