About Emma
With more than 10 years of experience and a MSc in Supramolecular Chemistry, I bring expertise and passion to tutoring. My focus is on materials science and polymer chemistry, where I enjoy exploring the design and function of new materials. I often use case studies on plastics, composites, and nanomaterials to keep learning concrete and relatable. These examples illustrate how chemistry shapes both everyday life and advanced technology. I approach teaching Chemistry with a focus on problem-solving and making concepts practical. My main areas of teaching include acid-base chemistry, pH calculations, titration, and buffer solutions. I explain these topics step by step and relate them to chemical equilibrium. Students learn how equilibrium helps explain titration curves, buffer actions, and acid-base reactions. This makes calculations logical instead of confusing. I provide plenty of practice problems to build speed and accuracy. My method encourages students to solve problems independently with guided support. For Olympiad contestants and researchers, I introduce advanced challenges that improve precision and critical thinking. I also connect lessons to real-life applications in medicine, environment, and industry. This adds meaning to the subject and shows why chemistry matters. My teaching style is interactive, with discussions and feedback at every stage. Students steadily grow more confident as they master calculations and concepts. I dedicate myself to ensuring they achieve success in both exams and research-level tasks. With the right approach, every student can excel in chemistry.
