About Haley
I am a Christian with a strong academic background (my college booklist, year by year, was taller than I am!). I was homeschooled with a variety of schooling and tutoring. I developed a preschool curriculum to compliment Classical Conversation's curriculum, and am currently working as a Library Communications Specialist for libraries nationwide, and as a historical teaching resources researcher.

I am absolutely open to giving lessons to students of any age! The older they get, the more I would use the instruction time to come alongside you instead of lecture. You can teach me as much as I can teach you!
With any work of literature, I would begin with placing it in its historical context, researching the author, and then interacting with the text. My goal would be working towards my student and I entering into dialogue with each other and the text. Any assignment would be geared toward this same goal, as well: to aid in the student being able to understand and enter into conversation with the text. This interaction is what creates lasting impressions, instead of memorizing facts to churn back out for tests.
