Hi! My name is Eve, and I offer engaging and supportive English tutoring for elementary and middle school students. My approach focuses on building confidence first, because strong readers and writers grow when they feel encouraged and understood. I break down complex concepts into clear, manageable steps and use interactive activities to keep students actively involved.
A typical lesson includes a warm-up (reading or vocabulary practice), direct instruction on a specific skill (such as paragraph writing, grammar, or reading comprehension), guided practice together, and independent practice with feedback. I also incorporate games, discussion, and real-world examples to make learning meaningful and enjoyable.
