About Thibault
Now 21 years old, I have been studying in an engineering school at INSA Lyon for three and a half years now in the "materials science and engineering" department.
I have always been curious to understand how the world around me works and mathematics, physics and chemistry have allowed me to answer many of the questions I was asking myself.
Unfortunately, I know very well that these three subjects are a burden for many students in middle and high school and it is to them that I want to try to transmit this concrete dimension of sciences, omnipresent but sometimes invisible actors of our daily life.
Currently doing a one year exchange in Helsinki, I take this time to open up to new cultures, travel and improve my resistance to the cold (I was not warned that the temperature could drop to -20 degrees!)
However, I guarantee warm exchanges with my students ;)

In the past, I have already given support lessons to a 7th grade student as well as to a 9th grade year student for the preparation of his patent.
Today, I offer courses in mathematics, physics and chemistry, subject that I have been deepening for 4 years in my engineering school.
My first goal is to get to know my student. During the first 2-3 sessions, I try above all to understand how the student works, how he / she learns and memorizes best and how he / she is organized and I adapt my pedagogy according to this.
A typical session would consist of a first phase of acquisition or revision of knowledge of a chapter followed by some exercises concluded by their correction. The goal is also to leave the most autonomy to the pupil so that he / she "learns to learn". Obviously, each course is different according to the needs of the student (for example for an exam in approach).
I offer my services to any student in middle school or high school, in French or in English (I have been studying in English for three years now).
