In my many years of schooling, I have been able to tell the difference between an average teacher and an awesome teacher. There are two things that differentiate them. A typical tutoring session would go as is : I asses where your need lies exactly. From there, I see if there are any underlying concepts that are not understood. I firmly believe that properly building the foundation is the key to any proper academic comprehension.
I find it is important to be able to break down and simplify concepts to apply them in various mathematical contexts.
By being a very understanding and calm person, I focus on developing a friendly environment to ease the learning process.
