About Laura
Having tutored since 2011 and having taught children since 1995, I am extremely capable and quite confident in my ability as an educator. My students always enjoy my teaching and tutoring style because I like to make learning fun. Before tutoring my students, I like to get to know them a little bit first and this seems to help them to be able to trust me that I have their best interest at heart.

Making tutoring fun, especially for young children, is important to their learning. I often play educational games to help children understand particular concepts. Many children have told me that I have been their favorite tutor through the years and this is a compliment I do not take lightly!
