About Yuxin
I used to struggle with and hate math as a kid, especially starting high school, but after gaining confidence and really committing to practicing my math skills (for college), I realized that much of math really isn't too complicated, and can even be fun once you get the hang of the foundational skills! Now I want to help others with math, so that you don't have to go through the needless struggling that I did.

I like to work through problems as a tutor by first seeing how the student tries to solve a question first, to understand their process, and then tailor my approach to go through it step-by-step. I'm great at teaching middle and high schoolers basic / foundational math skills, really pushing such concepts in so that they are thoroughly knowledgeable in those areas, and have a solid base for continuing in advanced mathematics.
