About Saras
Hi, I’m Saras! I’m a high school senior with a 1590 SAT score and 5s on AP Statistics and AP Microeconomics. I enjoy working through difficult problems and helping other students understand the reasoning behind an answer.
As captain of my school’s speech team, I lead practices and coach newer speakers. That experience shapes how I approach tutoring: I listen to how you explain your thinking, give specific feedback, and break things down when an explanation isn’t clicking.
You can expect me to come prepared, take your questions seriously, and build lessons around what you need to improve. I’ll create custom practice tests tailored to your weaknesses and explain mistakes in a way that helps you approach the next question independently.
I understand the challenge of fitting SAT preparation around school and extracurriculars. My goal is to make our time together focused, encouraging, and useful, with clear steps you can follow between lessons.

My lessons focus on understanding why you miss questions and working through those specific difficulties. I scored a 1590 on the SAT, and I’ll help you approach problems with clear explanations, focused practice, and strategies you can use independently on test day.
We’ll start by reviewing a recent practice test or completing a short diagnostic to identify what needs attention. Sometimes that’s an unfamiliar concept; other times, it’s timing, misreading a question, or getting stuck between two answers.
A typical lesson includes reviewing mistakes, working through a skill together, and practicing questions on your own so I can understand your thinking. You’ll have room to ask questions and work at a pace that makes sense for you.
I’ll also create custom practice tests tailored to your weaknesses, with original SAT-style questions targeting the concepts and question types you find hardest. As you improve, I’ll adjust the practice so we keep making good use of your time.
My online lessons are for high school students preparing for SAT Math and Reading and Writing, whether you’re starting your preparation or trying to improve an existing score. As a fellow student, I know SAT prep has to fit around classes and other commitments, so each lesson will have a clear focus and manageable next steps.
