About Tani
Hi, I'm Tani! I'm a university student studying physiotherapy. I have many hobbies and passions in life and I've managed to combine them through teaching and tutoring! I love helping people, learning foreign languages, music and teaching.
I am passionate about tutoring and teaching- I love empowering my students with knowledge and skills to be independent, confident learners. I have previously taught English online to children in China multiple times each week, and I currently tutor high school students for a range of subjects including German, French and Studies of Religion.

My teaching style has a very individual approach- resources made by me to suit German Beginners students and assist them with a range of grammatical challenges, vocabulary and speaking exercises. Students will learn pronunciation, writing skills and exam techniques to use for both reading and listening. I also make use of examination past papers so that my students can practice reading and writing to the standard required for their HSC.
My experience with German includes a 2nd in NSW ranking for the 2020 HSC with a 98/100 for German Beginners. As of 2023, I have 4 years of German tutoring experience. In 2022, my student achieved a 94/100 (band 6) in the NSW HSC. My students have become more confident in all four components of German studies; reading, writing, listening and speaking.
Lessons are for high school students from Yr 7-12 and typically last 1 hour.
