About Gaia
I am in my 2nd year studying history. I achieved 3 A*s at A level,in Maths, Spanish and History. I have had experience tutoring year 8 and 9 children as a Maths prefect at Tiffin School and have learnt to adapt my teaching to varying degrees of mathematical ability. I achieved a grade 8 (A*) at GCSE so I am very much capable of tutoring year 10s and 11s.

I am able to give lessons to KS3 and KS4 students. I tutor using the demonstrator style, I am patient and understanding when students find topics difficult and am more than willing to explain concepts as much as the student wants. My maths lessons start by going over topics that my students have requested, explaining the key points which they struggled to understand. Then, I explain any particular exam questions they could not do. Once they have identified the difficulties about that topic, I encourage them to attempt some questions that I have found from relevant maths textbooks, specific to the topic and to their level. I end the lesson with a recap, clarifying key concepts, where the student has the opportunity to ask further questions.
