About Charlene
I am Charlene Visser. Based in a small town called De Aar. I love teaching and would love to broaden my skills because teaching is important in shaping the minds of young learners, that is why I decided to specialize in Intermediate phase teaching. I was granted an opportunity as a teaching assistant and started studying teaching after discovering my passion. I am now a reading coach and teaching assistant!

My lessons are well prepared. I focus on not dragging out content and getting straight to the point in a fun yet insightful way which keeps learners interested and focussed!
A typical lesson would consist of insight questions before officially starting with my lesson after that I will fill the gaps by starting my lesson with various resources such as videos slide shows etc. Learners will then get an opportunity to ask questions and if all is clear learners will get an activity to do based on the content we covered.
