About Katie

In my GCSES I achieved a grade 9 in mathematics (988 in the sciences), and in my Alevels I got ABB Distinction in maths, further maths, biology and music. I am currently in my second year studying a bachelors degree in mathematics at Cardiff university and am on track to be getting a first

About the lesson

My lessons would be between 1-2 hours and are for KS4 Higher GCSE Maths students from ages 14-16 achieving grades 4-9.
I can also help year 12 and 13 maths students with revision or help aid your understanding

The session will be entirely tailored to you, this being revision or teaching new concepts. They will be done over zoom sessions.
They will be most effective if students have specific targets or subject areas they want to improve!

During my GCSE and Alevel preparation I always found having one to one guidance was far more useful than being in a classroom. Sometimes it is slightly daunting to ask for help in front of your peers, so bring questions from lesson you’ve struggled with, or give me topics you don’t understand and we can work through them together.

Throughout my time at school I mentored and tutored many maths students, and oversaw the class for GCSE further maths as part of a student leadership initiative
