About Belle
Hi, my name is Belle and I am 21 years old currently studying Architecture at Newcastle University. Throughout my A Levels and my gap year I worked as a Maths and English tutor for a tutoring company, working in both one-to-one and group sessions with students of all ages and abilities. I enjoyed this so much that I also began working as a private maths tutor in my own time.
I am picking up tutoring again during my studies, missing the rewarding feeling of helping students gain confidence in Maths. Seeing the moment when it ‘clicks’ for a student is the best, and I hope to help more people feel assured in their abilities and enjoy what can be a very challenging part of their education.

I offer personalised tutoring sessions designed to meet unique needs of students, having experience with all ages and abilities from Reception to GCSE. My approach focuses on active learning, breaking down concepts and improving core understanding through basic principles. I break down complex problems into smaller, manageable steps, ensuring students grasp the fundamentals before moving forward.
Having only completed my A Levels 3 years ago, I can sympathise with students and understand that everyone learns differently. I adapt each lesson to individual pace and style of learning, aiding students in test preparation, gaining confidence in their current level, or helping students excel to their fullest potential.
I have worked both as a private tutor (in person and online) and as a senior tutor for a company, with 3 years experience in maths tuition.
Sessions typically last 45-60 minutes, but these can be extended to 90 minutes for exam prep/past papers.
