About Will
Hi all,
My name is Will and I'm a third-year chemistry student on an integrated master's at Cardiff University.
My particular strengths are in biochemistry, electrochemistry and green chemistry. Broadly speaking, I'm strongest in the physical/inorganic side of chemistry.
My expertise from chemistry as the 'central science' affords me the ability to teach core sciences and maths at a GCSE level.
I'm also a tenacious musician. I'm currently part of the university Acappella groups and show choirs and in the middle of producing an album for both groups.
I also record covers of acoustic guitar arrangements while I prepare for my grade 8.
Therefore, I'm also offering tuition for guitar lessons grades 1-5 for acoustic guitar and Rock School syllabuses.

I'm new to tutoring academic subjects so I'm focusing on KS3/GCSE teaching for the moment.
Once I'm more experienced I'll open up lessons for Chemistry A-Level students.
Academic tutoring lessons would last an hour.
I have experience teaching acoustic guitar to local children and young members of my family up to RGT grade 5. I have a grade 6 and I am currently working on my grade 8.
Although I don't have personal experience with Rock School and I'm primarily an acoustic guitarist, I played in big band and jazz combo for two years at college as part of the rhythm section. I am more than able to help beginner/intermediate grades up to grade 5.
Music lessons would last half an hour for beginners (pregrade to grade 3). I would offer intermediate students (grades 4-5) the option for a full hour lesson but that is up to their discretion.
