About Joel
Hi. My name is Joel Stoy and I am a highly driven third-year medical student at Imperial College London. I am originally from Southampton and have recently moved to London.
My qualifications are:
- 9 grade 9's, 1 grade 8 in GCSEs, grade A* in FSMQ
- A* in EPQ
- 3 A* in A-levels (Maths , Biology, and Chemistry)
- UCAT top 1% nationally
- BMAT, I scored 6.7 and 6.9, top 1% nationally
I like to box and play football for my university during my free time as I strongly believe it is important to have a good work-life balance. I have always been interested in research and I demonstrated my strong academic skills when completing a small research project in my second year at Imperial looking at the effect of diesel particles and COPD.
