About Jasper
I am still a student however I have experience in English tutoring and teaching the basics in Japanese. I have also lived in Japan for a number of years and take Japanese culture, history, literature and film modules so I can tutor/teach in these areas as well. I can also help to coach for the JLPT N4/N5 assessments.

My teaching method is to approach each one hour lesson with a 10-15 minute window reviewing any homework set and also the material covered in the previous lesson. Then depending on the students needs, I would spend 45 minutes teaching either grammar points, going through a Japanese reading, doing some speaking conversation practice, teaching some Kanji, or a mixture of these if required as well. I would look to set some homework at the end to ensure that the student is still thinking about Japanese after class and I would probably recommend 2 classes a week if there is no other contact with Japanese language as my belief is that learning a language effectively requires maximum exposure.
