About Macy
Hi! I'm a fourth-year Biomedical Engineering student at the University of Guelph offering math tutoring for university and high-school students, with a particular focus on Calculus I.
I've completed Calculus I, Calculus II, Differential Equations, and Numerical Methods at the University of Guelph, earning 90% or higher in every university math course I've taken. Having taken these courses myself, I understand that university can be a big step up from high school and that sometimes a different explanation or approach is all it takes for a concept to click.

I like to take a step-by-step approach so that you are able to understand why you are solving a problem the way you are, so that you can tackle similar problems independently. Starting with the concepts and then working through examples and practice problems together.
I can also adapt lessons to what you need the most, whether that is reviewing difficult concepts, working through practice problems, preparing for tests, or identifying and fixing gaps in your understanding.
