About Victor
I'm a fourth-year Natural Scientist at the University of Cambridge and I've been tutoring friends and colleagues for five years now. As such, I have always found that getting on well with students and working with them to achieve their goals are some of the keys to tutoring effectively. I'm friendly, understanding, and enthusiastic about teaching! Through my lessons, I aim to establish a deep and intuitive understanding of the content which allows the rest of the content to fall into place. This method is much more effective at ensuring competency in problem-solving situations, as the student will be more able to adapt to new scenarios and will have enjoyed the learning process a lot more than simply memorising formulae.

In the first few sessions I will try to judge the most suitable ways to help you learn and from there we can work together to push through any academic problems you may have. I have found that for A-Levels (and GCSEs), attempting and going over practice questions is one of the most effective methods of revision and learning, so that is where I will be able to help you the most. Each lesson will be roughly 60-90 minutes. Hope to see you soon!

Victor is a great teacher; he is kind with his students, very knowledgable in his field and patient whenever any misunderstandings arise. He takes great care in making sure his students fully grasp the topics at hand, and would never make them feel bad for not getting it at first.
