About Jonathan

Ever since I was a little boy, I resonated with the sound of music and guitar. Having been in flow state through guitar performances over the years, I have felt the power of happiness that music can provide. The ability to teach someone how to transfer their musical brain onto the guitar provides my students with a new lifelong skill of expressing themselves in a way that they never thought possible. I begin by learning what genres of music my students like including their favourite songs, and I tailor my lessons to each individual student. There is nothing more rewarding than seeing the excitement my students experience as their skills progress.

About the lesson

I train beginners and advanced students to build technical skills, speed and confidence in their playing. We always begin with simple warmups, and continue with learning chords, melodies, and guitar solos to your favourite songs! I can teach music theory, scales, how to improvise solos, or anything a student wants to learn. The lessons are completely judgement free. Feel free to ask questions along the way.
