About Luke
I bought my first electric guitar in 2006 at Music City in Asheville... before Guitar Center and Sweetwater shut them down. Through a combination of books, music theory classes at A-B Tech, and a TON of practice, I can finally play a barred F chord. I also have a strong foundation in music theory, harmonized scales, and chord inversions and voicings. I specialize in R&B guitar, "Hendrix, Steve Cropper, Curtis Mayfield." I'm also experienced in country/blues fingerstyle guitar, "Rev Gary Davis, Mississippi John Hurt, Chet Atkins". Regardless of your musical preferences, I'll work with you so you gain the confidence to play in any style. First lesson is free!
