About Finn
With 17 years of experience teaching French, I provide lessons that are both interactive and culturally enriching for students from school to college. I combine structured instruction with dynamic activities such as role-plays, conversation practice, storytelling, and multimedia exercises to engage students and make learning effective. My focus includes speaking, listening, reading, writing, and comprehension, while also introducing French literature, culture, and exam preparation strategies. Lessons are tailored to each student’s pace, learning style, and objectives, ensuring consistent progress and skill development. My philosophy is to make French learning practical, meaningful, and enjoyable, helping students develop confidence and a lifelong appreciation for the language.

Integrity is at the heart of my teaching. I provide accurate explanations, honest corrections, and transparent expectations. Students learn correct grammar, pronunciation, vocabulary, and sentence structure while understanding cultural usage in real-life contexts.
Flexibility allows me to adapt lessons based on student level, learning style, and pace. I use a variety of activities such as conversations, listening practice, reading exercises, and writing tasks to strengthen all language skills.
Communication is actively encouraged in every lesson. I create a comfortable environment where students feel confident speaking French without fear of mistakes. Positivity helps learners remain motivated and build self-confidence throughout the learning process.
