About Akber

I'm Akber, an ACCA Affiliate based in Karachi — and someone who has lived the ACCA journey from start to finish, clearing all 17 papers on the first attempt with an average score of around 80% and a 91 in Strategic Business Reporting (SBR).

But the numbers only tell part of the story. Alongside my studies, I built real-world experience working in finance — preparing statutory financial statements, board-level reporting, audit coordination, and management accounts. I know what it looks like when the standards you study actually show up in practice, and I bring that context into every single lesson.

I started tutoring because I remember exactly what it felt like to be an ACCA student — the pressure, the confusion on certain topics, and the frustration of not being able to afford quality coaching. I wanted to offer something different: live, personalised classes at a price that doesn't make you choose between your education and your budget.

I'm not here to read slides at you. I'm here to make sure you actually understand the material, can apply it under exam conditions, and have someone in your corner whenever a question comes up — day or night.

About the lesson

My teaching philosophy is simple: I want every student to genuinely understand what they are learning — not just memorise it for the exam. Every concept I teach is connected to how it actually works in the real world, drawing from my own professional experience in finance and accounting roles. This means you don't just learn what IFRS 15 says — you understand why it exists and how companies apply it in practice.

How I Teach
Sessions are live, online, and fully interactive — no recorded lectures, no passive watching. Each class runs for approximately 2 hours and is structured around building your understanding step by step: key concepts first, then worked examples, then exam application. I encourage questions throughout, and nothing moves forward until you are confident with what we've covered.

Beyond the sessions themselves, I offer full-time query support. Stuck on a past paper at 11pm? Send it over. That level of accessibility is something most coaching institutes simply don't provide.
