About Weiyi
I hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance and a Master's degree in Sustainability. During my undergraduate studies, I performed strongly in Mathematics-related subjects, achieving 85/100 in Mathematics and 82/100 in Management Mathematics, both of which fall within the top classification (above 70).
I am a patient and dedicated tutor who genuinely enjoys working with children. I believe that education is both a serious responsibility and a meaningful process. My goal is not only to help students improve their academic performance, but also to ensure that they do not develop fear or frustration towards Mathematics.
I am especially experienced in supporting students with weaker foundations. I guide them step by step to build confidence and a sense of control over the subject. By helping students understand concepts in a structured and top-down way, I aim to develop their overall understanding of Mathematics and steadily improve their results.

I am passionate about helping students build confidence in Mathematics through a clear and patient teaching approach.
In my lessons, I focus on ensuring that students fully understand key concepts before moving on to practice questions. I tailor my teaching according to each student’s level, whether they need to strengthen their foundation or improve their problem-solving skills. I also guide students step-by-step and provide regular practice to reinforce learning. Based on each student’s performance during practice, I will gradually introduce higher-level questions to assess their understanding and help them progress further. In addition, I keep track of common mistakes and work with students to review them regularly, ensuring that they fully understand their errors and avoid repeating them.
Each lesson typically lasts 60 to 90 minutes, depending on the student’s needs. Lessons may include concept explanation, guided practice, and review of schoolwork or homework.
I hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance from SIM and a Master's degree in Sustainability from SMU. I have achieved strong academic results in Mathematics (85/100) and have experience teaching both Primary and Secondary students in Singapore, so I am familiar with the local school syllabus.
My lessons are suitable for Primary and Lower Secondary students, especially those who want to build a strong foundation, improve their understanding, and gain confidence in Mathematics.
