About Penny

I’m a dedicated Biomedical Science student at York University with a passion for teaching and helping others succeed academically. I achieved a 98% in Organic Chemistry, Biology, and Biochemistry, and I specialize in using active recall techniques to make learning efficient and long-lasting. My experience as a swim instructor/lifeguard and pharmacy assistant has helped me develop strong communication, leadership, and motivational skills. I’m fluent in both English and Farsi, and I bring energy, clarity, and structure to every lesson. My goal is to make complex science topics simple and engaging, and to help students build the confidence they need to excel. My lessons are delivered in both English and Farsi.

I have tutored many students before, I am a very chill person and pretty easygoing! My sessions include interactive quizzes, flashcards, and custom tests to help you truly retain and apply what you learn. Whether you're prepping for an exam or need help keeping up, I’m here to guide you every step of the way! Also, the first session is free! where we can get to know each other and discover your educational needs and set basic steps to get you to your goals! I have had many students from elementary school to university level where I had made concepts easier and more fun to learn. What sets me apart from other tutors is that I am always thriving to learn and practice more so you can see me like a classmate who is studying alongside with you and is always willing to help and teach more!
