About Alex

I achieved a H1 (top grade) in Leaving Certificate Irish 2025, including 95% in the oral exam, and I spent 2 weeks in the Gaeltacht in 2023 to strengthen my fluency and experience Irish in its natural spoken form.
I offer Irish tutoring for all levels, from complete beginners who want to start speaking Irish with confidence to Leaving Cert students aiming to improve their oral and written exam results.
All lessons are fully tailored to each student, with a strong focus on spoken Irish, fluency, exam technique, and building confidence to help students achieve their best possible results.

About the lesson

I’m aware of how Irish is often taught in schools, and I aim to make my lessons as engaging, interactive, and enjoyable as possible. I tailor each session to the student’s needs and am happy to focus on any areas you’d like to improve, whether that’s building confidence in general conversation, strengthening your grammar, or learning basic greetings and foundations. I welcome learners of all levels who are interested in learning and using this beautiful language. Beatha teanga í a labhairt!
