About Jee
I am a piano tutor with over 6 years of experience teaching college students, dedicated to helping each learner reach their full potential. My teaching style is flexible, personalized, and focused on both skill-building and creative expression. I incorporate innovative methods such as combining classical and contemporary music, improvisation, composition exercises, and interactive sight-reading to make lessons stimulating and enjoyable.
I focus on developing strong technical skills, understanding music theory, mastering rhythm, and building performance confidence. At the same time, I encourage students to explore their own creativity and express themselves fully through music. My goal is to provide a motivating, inspiring, and positive learning environment where students can grow as musicians, enjoy every step of the process, and develop a lifelong passion for piano and music.

My piano teaching methodology focuses on creativity, guidance, and responsibility. I believe piano learning should develop both musical skill and personal confidence.
Creativity is encouraged through interactive lessons, improvisation, and exploring different music genres. Students are guided to express themselves and stay motivated.
As a mentor and critical thinker, I help students understand musical concepts clearly. I explain technique, rhythm, scales, chords, and musical expression in simple and practical ways. Students learn to think independently and improve with guidance.
Accountability is emphasized through structured practice routines, goal setting, and regular progress tracking. This builds discipline and helps students stay committed to their learning journey.
In addition to piano, I also teach music theory, sight reading, ear training, rhythm practice, keyboard coordination, and basic composition to support complete musical development.
