About Daniel
As an acting coach with over a decade of experience across stage and screen, I bring a supportive, practical, and tailored approach to every session. Whether you're preparing for drama school auditions, brushing up for a role, or exploring acting for the first time, my aim is to help you unlock authenticity, confidence, and technique. I trained at Drama Centre London and have since become an award-winning writer/director, with work featured at Off-West End theatres, the Edinburgh Fringe, and international film festivals including BFI Flare. Alongside my creative work, I’ve also worked behind the scenes on major film productions, giving me a broad understanding of performance in both independent and big-budget settings. I’ve collaborated with actors of all levels — from complete beginners to BAFTA winners — and understand the creative and emotional demands of the craft at every stage. My goal is to create a space where you can take risks, grow, and enjoy the process of developing your unique voice as an actor.

My approach is tailored to each individual student — whether you're preparing for drama school, preparing for an audition, or sharpening your skills for stage or screen. I aim to create a warm, focused environment where actors can take risks and grow, using a mix of techniques drawn from Stanislavski, Meisner, Yatt Malmgren, and contemporary screen methods. Lessons are typically 60 minutes long. I enjoy exploring text, character work and helping bring the subtlety, nuance and truth out of a character's performance, finding more than just a broad objective but all the micro details that bring a character to life. I've spent over a decade working across stage and screen as a director, writer, and acting coach. My work has been performed at international festivals, Off-West End theatres, and the BFI Southbank. I've collaborated with actors at every level — from complete beginners to BAFTA winners. Lessons are open to anyone aged 16+, and I particularly enjoy working with students preparing for auditions or looking to explore a specific role
