About Hannah

- What kind of experience do you have?

I am a working, professional actor. My career so far has included acting in productions at The Almeida Theatre, multiple feature length and short films, radio plays for the BBC, extensive voice over work for commercials on television and radio, and, most extensively, television. I have appeared in multiple productions for the BBC, ITV, Sky, Canal Plus, and, most recently, Netflix.

- Do you have an up-to-date DBS (Disclosure & Barring Service, formerly CRB) Certificate?

- Where and with whom did you train?

I trained in central London, at RADA.

- Do you belong to any professional organisations?

I am a member of the actors' union Equity.

About the lesson

My name is Hannah Arterton, and I'm a RADA trained professional working actor. My career spans film, television, theatre, radio and voice over work. My acting tuition comes with real first hand experience of the entertainment industry.

- Which subject(s) do you teach?

I teach acting for all contexts. I specialise in drama school preparation from recent, first hand experience. This includes selecting speeches, preparing them to performance level, and interview preparation. I also prepare students for drama school exams, acting for camera and general audition preparation.

- Tell me about your qualifications.

I have a BA honours degree in Acting from The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA), as well as a BTEC in Music Performance and Technology and a Professional Development Certificate in Acting and Theatre making from The Miskin Theatre, part of North West Kent College.

- How much do you charge?

I charge £40 per hour, including travelling costs.

- Where do you teach?

I am happy to travel to students' homes within London. Tuition at my home in south London can also be arranged.

- When are you available?

I am available Monday to Friday and can work into the evenings to suit the student.

- Which ages and levels do you teach?

I specialise in teaching teenagers and adults, but am open to teaching younger students too.

- Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?

I specialise in preparation for drama school auditions from a recent, first hand experience.

- Describe your arrangements for online tutoring.

I am happy to provide online tutoring by the hour or half hour.

- Do you have a personal message for students?

My tuition is unique, as it comes from an actively working actor with recent experience of a top drama school. I have many pearls of wisdom to impart!
