About Rohan

Having spent over 40 years on stage, I have experienced every challenge and highlight in triplicate. My greatest joy is helping young artists develop themselves, their skills and their understanding. Creating a toolkit for their ongoing personal/creative agency is my prime aim at all times. I've developed/supported the careers of over 800 young artists in the last decade and currently have ex-students in 75 shows on West End and beyond. My passion is to smooth and clarify the path for young artists in their individual creative journeys.

About the lesson

I hold an MA in Actor Training and Coaching from Royal Central and have trained as a Classical Actor and Singer. My vast experience as a performer and teacher in high-end productions and Acting Schools - Les Mis, Phantom, Cats, Mamma Mia / ArtsEd (Head of Acting), Mountview, RCSSD, Rose Bruford - means I am hugely flexible and uniquely adaptable in my methods and responses. At the core of practice is an ethos of supportive kindness coupled with rigorous attention to detail. My training is adaptable to your best learning paths and is always balanced between skill and creativity. I am not a drama teacher, as my key focus is on developing practical acting skills and creative approaches to performance. I bridge the worlds of MT and 'straight' acting, as I have worked extensively in both arenas. Whilst I am not a technical singing teacher, I am a vastly experienced repertoire and Acting Through Song Coach. Most importantly, I strive for a relaxed, disciplined and supportive working partnership based on sensitive rigour, hard work and plenty of fun.
