About Andy

A bit about me:
Andy McCain (AEA) is an actor, known for Pizza Man (2025), Crowded Out (2025), The Scent of Water (2025), 10-62 (2022), You Need Therapy!(2022), Seventeen (2017), Pity Applause -TV Series (2016) Sophie Hates Me (2012) and Better the Devil You Know (2009), and other short films. Andy can be seen in the Constant Contact commercial campaign, "Let's Win This" repping Petey's Pickles. You can listen to Andy on Audible with such fun books as What the Frost?!, The Last One Out, It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Raptors, Surrender, and The Amazing Adventures of Risky Roach. Andy was named Broadway World's Best Supporting Performer in Straight White Men, with Wellfleet Harbor Actor's Theatre. Andy is also a Film Director, Fight Choreographer, Puppeteer and Teaching Artist.

As a working actor with a rich background in film, theater, and musical theater, I bring real-world experience into every session, offering personalized, results-driven coaching that prepares students for every aspect of the audition journey. My approach integrates expertise in acting, vocal performance, and dance, ensuring each student’s unique strengths are highlighted while thoughtfully addressing areas for growth. Together, we select monologues, songs, and dance pieces that not only showcase talent but also align with the student’s personality, goals, and target programs. In addition to performance coaching, I guide students through practical audition strategies, including confidence-building techniques, managing nerves, and mastering first impressions. Mock auditions replicate real-world scenarios and provide constructive, actionable feedback. I also cover audition-day essentials—like attire, preparation routines, and mindset—so students walk into the room poised, prepared, and empowered to succeed.
