I am an engaging and learner-centered professional with 22+ years of experience in teaching, facilitation, coaching, consulting, communication and professional development across diverse public-sector, nonprofit, healthcare and community environments.
Experienced in working with people from different cultural, educational and professional backgrounds and adapting complex information to different learning needs. Brings a strong combination of English communication, adult learning, facilitation, presentation, technology and interpersonal skills, supported by experience working with international and multicultural communities.
Known for creating welcoming learning environments, explaining complex concepts in accessible language, encouraging participation, and helping learners build confidence through practical application.
Currently completing a Master of Arts in Applied Social Psychology, bringing additional knowledge of human behavior, motivation, communication, learning and group dynamics.

My professional background has given me extensive experience explaining complex concepts in clear and accessible language, facilitating group discussions, developing learning materials, mentoring students and adapting my communication style to different audiences. I have taught as an adjunct instructor, mentored university students, facilitated workshops and supported professionals and community members from diverse cultural and educational backgrounds.
I am particularly interested in ESL because language is more than a technical skill. it is a pathway to confidence, connection, education, employment and participation in the community. I enjoy creating learning environments where students feel comfortable asking questions, practising their English and making mistakes as part of the learning process.
