About Jill Hettie

I want to pass on my knowledge to the younger generation to watch them use accounting as a tool to help businesses grow. Accounting should never be a hindrance to establishing and/or growing a business...it should be THE BACKBONE. Accounting doesn't lie...keep your books straight, the rest is gravy.

About the lesson

I've been an Intuit Advanced Certified Quickbooks ProAdvisor since 1999...I know Quickbooks inside and out. I recently sold my fifteen year Quickbooks bookkeeping firm, and I found I've still much to give. I can make Quickbooks work for you, EASILY, not the other way around. Hettie has been my bookkeeper for years, and when it was time for me to bring my bookkeeping in house due to monetary constraints, she was nice and patient enough to teach me how to do HER job (train me on Quickbooks). She succeeded...I now only need bookkeeping assistance once per month, but I miss her! She's always here when I need anything or have any questions, no matter how stupid they may be.

Hettie TOLERATED me over 10 years ago, and now she's tutoring all my new employees. Quickbooks ain't easy...she "tricked it" into maintaining an accurate set of financials while allowing ME to do it MY WAY. You go girl!!

After she talked me off the ledge, she taught me how to clean up my books, and keep them clean. She cleaned them, then handed them to me on a silver platter, WITH PROPER INSTRUCTION. This chick has it goin on!!

Hettie was able to take my hand, hold it, pet it, love it, squeeze it, then call it Quickbooks! She helped me master Quickbooks, not the other way around. She saved my business!
