About Coral
My name is Coral Mazereeuw. I have been playing the violin for 14 years in Prince George and area. I am crazy about music of all kinds and plan to keep chasing music for the rest of my life. I have attended an extensive amount of workshops, classes and music camps and have already taught a number of avid music lovers how to play the violin, in group and private settings, and plan on sharing my knowledge with you next!

These classes will be tailored for children and young adults, and will vary in technique, and process, depending on the progress and skill level of the student. I focus primarily on fiddle tunes and modern pieces, will review basic note reading, and do not discourage learning by ear. Please note that I prefer to teach those who have the burning desire to learn as it will be much more enjoyable for both of us in the long run! I am very flexible and encouraging with the learning process, BUT, I am familiar with the difficulty of finding the right teaching method, so do not feel obligated to continue taking lessons with me if it does not feel right for YOU. I want you to learn how you learn best, and am so excited for your music journey, whatever the path!
