About Trinity
Mathematics is part of a fifteen-year tutoring career during which I have supported 760 students, many aiming for genuinely competitive university programs and technical careers. My physics degree and postgraduate study, followed by years in an applied research setting, gave me a strong grounding in rigorous mathematical reasoning that I now pass on directly. I am a demanding tutor, though genuinely invested in every student's long-term development rather than just their next test result. I am especially passionate about mentoring students from non-traditional academic backgrounds considering technical degrees, since I firmly believe curiosity matters more than early advantage. Watching students progress successfully into demanding university programs remains the most rewarding part of my work.

My mathematics teaching is deliberately rigorous, since students heading toward engineering or science degrees consistently benefit from strong proof-based habits developed early, even before their current coursework strictly requires that level of formality. I assign longer, open-ended problems, giving genuine space to struggle productively before offering hints, because that struggle is precisely where real mathematical maturity develops over time. Topics are taught within a carefully mapped sequence, showing students explicitly how one mathematical idea feeds directly into the next throughout the syllabus. Career guidance is included naturally for older students, connecting specific mathematical topics to real engineering and science career paths they might pursue. Every student receives a personalized long-term roadmap, reviewed and carefully adjusted every few months rather than a fixed generic plan.
