About Roland
Hello, I have been playing the cello for over 20 years, and I'm eager to help you learn to play this beautiful instrument, whether you are a complete beginner or you already know a few things. I am also an Alberta certified teacher with over 10 years of classroom experience, educating young people. I can teach in English or French.

Lessons can be offered in person or online. I like personally learning by doing. For this reason, I don't spend much time on music theory, but more on the practice of playing the instrument and reading music. I try to provide a blend of technical pieces for skills development and more fun "performance" music.
