About the lesson

I’m a dedicated Maths tutor with over three years of teaching experience and a BSc in Mathematics and Data Science. I love exploring how mathematics explains the world around us. Much of my work involves using stochastic processes and Markov chains to make probabilistic modeling accessible and engaging. These ideas help students understand how randomness influences systems in finance and biology. I especially enjoy teaching random walks because they reveal how simple movements create powerful long-term patterns.

Transition probabilities are another concept I’m passionate about. They form the backbone of predicting how systems evolve over time. I often show students how these tools can be applied to stock market prediction or population dynamics. My strength lies in breaking down complex ideas into clear, intuitive explanations.
