About Georgiana

I am a single sided Deaf person who grew up in a hearing world. I went to college to become a sign language interpreter but decided it wasn't a good fit.

I strive to serve the community still in a very important and educational way. I know the transition from basic sign to asl fluency can be a difficult one. Id like to bridge that gap by providing people with the knowledge and skills they need to progress confidently.

About the lesson

All of my students start with a one on one meeting to go over personal learning needs. Every class i hold is structured on an individual basis

tutoring sessions with personalized lessons
-Setting up achievable learning goals over a set time
-One on one practicing
-Fingerspelling practice
-Basic vocab
- Deaf culture
-resource provisions for outside of tutoring time

My asl tutoring lessons are for beginner and intermediate learners (asl 1-4)

Perfect! Georgiana was an amazing tutor! I had an audition to play the friend of a deaf character and Georgiana worked with me on my audition scene, making me look like a fluent ASL pro. I feel super confident in my signing skills after working with her! Highly recommend.
