Hello, my name is Courtney! I offer structured and engaging tutoring in Ancient Studies, History, Creative Writing, and Poetry for elementary and high school students. My academic training in the humanities allows me to present material clearly while encouraging curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking. My approach to tutoring is student-centred and adaptable. I believe everyone learns differently, so I tailor each session to the student’s goals, learning style, and pace. I focus on building understanding and confidence by breaking down complex ideas into clear, manageable concepts, encouraging questions, and creating an open, supportive learning environment.
I aim not only to help students succeed academically, but also to develop critical thinking skills and a genuine interest in the subject. I want to make students excited about the topics they are learning in an accessible and rewarding way.
Lessons are designed for elementary and high school students who want extra support, skill-building, or confidence in their studies.
