About Katie

I have a Master's degree in archaeology and focused on Indigenous peoples in North America prior to the arrival of European Settlers. I've been teaching for over 10 years in various capacities and in many different areas and many different settings. Working with students from pre-kindergarten through university, I teach to the level and learning style that best suits the student and their environment.

About the lesson

My teaching style is oriented to the student, how you learn best, and what makes the content make sense to you. I've taught in many different environments for more than 10 years, so I adapt to you. I have worked with curriculum from kindergarten through to teaching university classes and am very good at tailoring the lesson and information to the appropriate level. Archaeology encompasses many things - I have a lot of training in environmental biology, history, Indigenous studies, and geography, and can teach any and all of it in French or English.
