About Sanya
My journey in architecture started with curiosity about how spaces influence human experience. Over nine years, I’ve worked as both practitioner and educator, guiding students from conceptual ideas to detailed execution. I focus on fostering creativity while teaching technical rigor, helping students discover their personal design voice. I teach with patience, adaptability, and encouragement. Lessons blend structured guidance with freedom to experiment, promoting problem-solving, critical reflection, and design thinking. Students are supported in developing both skills and confidence. Outside teaching, I participate in sustainable design projects, workshops, and professional collaborations. These experiences enrich my instruction, connecting classroom learning with contemporary practice. Guiding students to create impactful, thoughtful, and aesthetically meaningful designs is the most fulfilling aspect of my career.

Architecture combines artistry, technical knowledge, and human-centered design. My lessons begin by helping students perceive and interpret spatial relationships, materials, and light, cultivating a sense of design that balances functionality with aesthetics. Through hands-on exercises, digital modeling, and conceptual exploration, learners develop both technical precision and creative expression.
Beginners focus on hand-drawing, geometric fundamentals, and spatial reasoning, while intermediate students explore Revit, AutoCAD, and sustainable design principles. Advanced learners tackle complex projects that require problem-solving, iterative refinement, and portfolio development. Assignments emphasize reflective critique, collaboration, and real-world applicability, ensuring students graduate with both competence and confidence in their creative and technical abilities.
Beyond technical skill, my lessons aim to instill empathy, innovation, and analytical thinking. Students learn to design spaces that resonate emotionally, function efficiently, and reflect social and environmental responsibility. By the end of the course, learners emerge with a holistic understanding of architecture as both art and science.
