About Jade
My journey into architecture began with a deep fascination for spaces and how design influences human behaviour and emotion. This interest led me to pursue a B.Arch in Architectural Design, where I developed strong foundations in spatial reasoning, design theory, and visual communication. Over the past 12 years, I have worked with students at different stages of their academic journey, helping them transform uncertainty into confident creative expression.
I believe architecture education should balance freedom and structure. My teaching style is patient, observant, and highly adaptive. I take time to understand each learner’s thought process, offering guidance that refines ideas without limiting originality. I encourage exploration while helping students organise and strengthen their concepts logically.
Outside teaching, I remain engaged with architecture through design analysis, sketching practice, and studying contemporary projects. Teaching architecture is deeply fulfilling to me because I witness students discover their creative voice. Supporting their growth into confident, thoughtful designers motivates my work every day.

Architecture lessons are designed to help students understand how ideas transform into meaningful, functional spaces. I focus on developing strong design thinking by guiding learners through spatial planning, form development, proportion, scale, material awareness, and contextual sensitivity. Lessons emphasise clarity of concept, encouraging students to explore creativity while maintaining logical structure. Through sketching, visual references, and guided discussions, students gradually learn to communicate ideas with confidence and purpose.
At beginner levels, lessons focus on observation, basic sketching, understanding space, and simple conceptual exercises. Intermediate learners develop stronger visual language, learn site analysis, circulation planning, and material exploration. Advanced learners focus on design refinement, project justification, portfolio presentation, and architectural storytelling. Each lesson includes constructive feedback, reflection, and gradual improvement to strengthen both creative and technical skills.
Learning architecture nurtures patience, critical observation, and problem-solving ability. Students often gain a deeper appreciation for their surroundings and develop stronger creative identity. My goal is to help learners feel confident expressing ideas visually while developing disciplined thinking that supports long-term architectural growth.
