About Leah
My passion for Architecture began with observing how thoughtfully designed spaces shape human experience. This led me to pursue a B.Arch in Urban and Sustainable Design, where I studied environmentally conscious planning, structural principles, and spatial creativity. Over 8 years of teaching, I have developed a structured, patient, and encouraging approach that fosters both imagination and technical precision. I adapt lessons to each student’s learning style, using sketches, model-building, and conceptual exercises to guide them in developing their own design voice. I emphasize experimentation, iterative learning, and reflective critique, ensuring that students progress confidently and creatively. Outside teaching, I stay engaged with architecture research, urban development projects, and sustainable design practices. Integrating these insights into lessons keeps learning dynamic, relevant, and inspiring. Seeing students develop confidence, clarity, and creativity in design is profoundly rewarding.

Architecture becomes engaging when students are encouraged to explore both creativity and technical reasoning. My lessons focus on spatial design, sketching, 3D modeling, material application, and sustainability, guiding learners to balance imagination with functional precision. I emphasize developing visual communication skills, conceptual clarity, and a structured approach to design. Each session encourages experimentation while maintaining logical frameworks, helping students gain confidence in translating ideas into practical, visually coherent designs.
I tailor lessons to different skill levels. Beginners focus on basic sketching, proportion, perspective, and understanding fundamental design principles. Intermediate learners work on model-making, material selection, spatial problem-solving, and integrated design concepts. Advanced students focus on portfolio development, presentation techniques, sustainable design, and creative storytelling. Every session combines guided exercises with reflective feedback to strengthen both technical and artistic abilities.
Architecture lessons cultivate spatial awareness, analytical thinking, and creative problem-solving. Students gain confidence in visualizing, planning, and presenting ideas while developing a personal design voice. My goal is to nurture both technical competence and artistic expression, empowering learners to approach design challenges with creativity and clarity.
