About Ojas

My interest in architecture began with an appreciation for the built environment and the way spaces influence human behavior. This inspired me to pursue a B.Arch, followed by an M.Arch in Urban Design, where I honed my understanding of sustainable design, spatial planning, and material application. Over 7 years, I have taught students at varying levels, helping them develop creativity, technical skill, and conceptual clarity. My teaching style emphasizes exploration, structured practice, and iterative feedback, supporting learners in expressing their ideas confidently.

Lessons are personalized to student needs. Beginners receive foundational guidance in drawing and spatial awareness. Intermediate learners explore advanced techniques, structural reasoning, and applied projects. Advanced learners engage in complex urban design, sustainable development projects, and portfolio preparation. Feedback and iterative critique are continuous, ensuring skill growth and confidence development.

Outside teaching, I remain active in architectural projects, sustainability research, and design competitions. Integrating real-world experience into lessons keeps content engaging and relevant. Teaching architecture is profoundly rewarding because I witness learners transform ideas into tangible, well-communicated designs. Supporting students to realize their creative potential and develop strong design thinking skills remains the most fulfilling part of my work.

About the lesson

Architecture is most inspiring when learners understand how ideas become functional, aesthetic, and sustainable spaces. My lessons cover design principles, spatial reasoning, material science, environmental considerations, and visual communication, blending creative exploration with practical application. I encourage learners to sketch, model, analyze, and present designs in a supportive, iterative environment. Lessons are structured to nurture creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving while demonstrating how architectural concepts influence human experience and sustainability. Students develop skills in conceptualization, spatial organization, and design presentation that are essential for both academic and professional growth.

Lessons are tailored to skill level. Beginners focus on drawing fundamentals, proportion, spatial awareness, and conceptual design principles. Intermediate learners explore advanced visualization, structural understanding, material application, and design refinement. Advanced learners tackle complex urban planning, sustainable architecture projects, advanced model building, and portfolio development. Each session integrates guided exercises, critiques, and discussion, ensuring learners gain confidence, clarity, and skill in expressing their ideas effectively.

Architecture lessons also enhance creativity, analytical reasoning, and communication. Students learn to conceptualize ideas, evaluate designs critically, and communicate effectively through sketches, models, and presentations. My goal is to help learners develop a confident, expressive design voice, blending imagination with technical understanding. Lessons are structured to inspire innovation, strengthen problem-solving skills, and equip students for long-term success in academic and professional architectural endeavors.
