About Hazel
My journey into architecture began with a deep appreciation for spaces that inspire emotion, comfort, and meaning. I was always fascinated by how buildings influence human behavior and how thoughtful design can transform communities. This passion led me to complete a B.Arch in Architectural Design and later an M.Arch in Urban Sustainability Planning, where I studied both creative expression and responsible design for the future. Over the past 9 years, I have helped students develop confidence in architecture through structured guidance and warm encouragement.
I teach with patience, adaptability, and openness, believing that architecture students thrive when they feel safe to explore creativity while learning strong design discipline. My lessons focus on helping learners build a confident architectural voice, communicate ideas clearly, and develop both artistic and technical understanding step by step.
Outside teaching, I remain engaged with architecture through sustainable design research, urban planning studies, concept sketching, and exploring innovative projects worldwide. Teaching architecture is deeply meaningful because I witness students transform into confident creators who can express powerful ideas through space and design. Supporting their growth is one of the most fulfilling parts of my work.

Architecture becomes powerful when students realize it is not only about drawing buildings, but about shaping human experience through space, light, form, and purpose. My lessons focus on helping learners understand design principles, spatial reasoning, architectural communication, and creative development in a supportive and inspiring environment. I guide students in learning how architects balance imagination with structure, aesthetics with function, and creativity with technical discipline.
Each lesson is carefully tailored to the student’s level and goals. Beginners explore foundational sketching, proportion, perspective, and early design thinking through gentle guidance. Intermediate learners develop stronger skills in model building, material understanding, project planning, and architectural composition. Advanced students focus on portfolio refinement, sustainability integration, presentation strategy, and developing a clear architectural narrative that expresses their creative identity. Every session includes step-by-step feedback, structured improvement, and encouragement that helps students grow confidently.
Architecture lessons also support personal and creative development. Students become more observant, imaginative, and confident in expressing ideas visually. Many learners discover a deeper appreciation for how design shapes communities, culture, and daily life. My goal is to help students build disciplined creativity and long-term confidence in their architectural journey.
