About Ella
I completed a B.Arch followed by an M.Arch in Urban Design, where I developed a deep appreciation for how architecture shapes human experience and social interaction. Over 8 years of teaching experience, I have guided students through moments of creative uncertainty, helping them find clarity, confidence, and structure in their design process. These experiences shaped my supportive and patient teaching style. My approach emphasises clarity, encouragement, and thoughtful exploration. I help students understand not only how to design, but how to think like designers. Lessons are adapted to individual creative rhythms, ensuring learners feel supported rather than judged. Beyond teaching, I remain engaged with architecture through sketching, design research, and urban analysis. These activities enrich my lessons and perspectives. Teaching architecture is fulfilling because I witness students grow into confident creators capable of shaping meaningful spaces with intention.

My architecture lessons focus on helping students understand how ideas transform into meaningful, functional spaces. I introduce core concepts such as spatial organisation, proportion, circulation, form development, and visual communication through calm and structured guidance. Learners are encouraged to explore creativity while understanding the logic behind design decisions. Each lesson balances imagination with discipline, helping students feel confident expressing ideas clearly. As students advance, lessons include sketching refinement, conceptual development, model planning, and design storytelling. Intermediate learners work on spatial clarity and visual consistency, while advanced learners refine project narratives, presentation techniques, and portfolio organisation. Feedback is thoughtful and constructive, guiding improvement without pressure. Architecture lessons also develop observation, creativity, and thoughtful problem-solving. Many students grow more confident in expressing abstract ideas visually and verbally. My goal is to help learners build a strong design identity while developing habits that support long-term creative growth.
