About Claudia
My passion for architecture began with fascination for how environments influence emotion, behavior, and human connection. This led me to complete a B.Des in Architectural Studies followed by an M.Arch in Interior Environments, where I explored both creative design development and technical spatial planning. Over 9 years of teaching, I have guided students in building architectural confidence through warm encouragement and structured learning.
I believe architecture should be taught as both a creative journey and a disciplined craft. My teaching style focuses on helping students understand design logic while also exploring artistic expression. Through sketch guidance, real-world architectural examples, and step-by-step feedback, I support learners in developing strong visual communication skills. Many students grow significantly once they realize design is a process of exploration rather than perfection.
Outside tutoring, I remain engaged with architecture through design research, sustainability studies, and continuous creative sketch practice. Teaching architecture is fulfilling because I witness students transform uncertainty into confidence, discovering their ability to shape meaningful spaces through thoughtful design.

Architecture becomes exciting when students realize it is both an artistic and analytical discipline, combining imagination with structure to shape the spaces people live within. In my lessons, I guide learners through design principles, spatial planning, sketch development, model thinking, and architectural storytelling. I help students understand how creative ideas evolve into organized design solutions that communicate purpose and identity. Lessons are supportive and exploratory, encouraging learners to build confidence in expressing their unique design approach.
Each lesson is adapted to the learner’s stage. Beginners focus on foundational drawing, scale awareness, proportion, and basic design concepts. Intermediate learners strengthen drafting skills, project planning, conceptual development, and visual presentation techniques. Advanced students work on portfolio refinement, sustainable design thinking, architectural narratives, and professional-level design communication. Every session balances creativity with structured discipline to ensure long-term improvement.
Architecture lessons also help students grow in observation, creativity, and confidence. Many learners discover they become more expressive and thoughtful as they learn to see the world through design. My goal is to support students in developing both strong architectural skills and a clear creative identity.
