About Naomi
The screech of a bow on a dry string often signals a lack of control. I use a diagnostic assessment before setting the practice plan for your violin journey. We address double stops and vibrato through specific music theory applications. Tuning by ear is integrated into every segment of our time together.
Mastering ABRSM or Trinity requirements requires clear, classical repertoire study. Staccato bowing is refined until your tone sounds clean and precise. I provide the technical roadmap for your musical success.

Performing across Canada for 13 years, I keep my classical roots center stage. I hold a Bachelor of Music from the UBC School of Music for strings.
My 13 years of experience focus on sharp, technical instruction for intermediate players. I work constantly on left hand agility and spiccato bowing. Scales and arpeggios form the foundation of my teaching style.
I keep things kind but very focused. I look forward to working with you soon.
